Palo Santo is a sacred wood that comes from the magical Palo Santo tree, native to the Andean region. Palo Santo literally means “holy wood”, and i could not agree more. Besides an incredible aroma, the smoke has a medicinal & therapeutic healing power. Traditionally, Palo Santo was burned by indigenous people of the Andes, Shamans and medicine people for spiritual purifying, energy cleansing and healing.
It is such a wonderful tool to use before and during your meditation. The uplifting scent of this sacred wood helps to raise your vibration, to bring a deeper connection to the Earth & your inner spirit.
This sacred wood from the Andean region is won by a local fair trade corporation with respect for nature and according to the principles of Fair Trade. They gather the wood themselves and see to it that only branches are used that have fallen naturally from the tree. Then the wood matures 4-10 years before the magical fragrance is released. For every kilo of used wood, a new tree is planted to help preserve the rainforest.

How to cleanse your Crystal with Palo Santo?
- Light the Palo Santo stick & allow it to burn for up to 30 seconds.
- Then blow it out.
- Take your crystal with one hand and circulate the smoke around your crystal with the other.
- If you want to purify several crystals at the same time, proceed as for an individual crystal but by making more, wider movements so that the smoke includes all your crystals.
- Et voila, your crystals are cleansed.
PS: When you are smudging indoor, do open a window, so that the energy can flow away.
