By burning white sage you can clear yourself (spirit & mind), your space and your crystals (of course) from negative energies. It’s like clearing the slate and make room for uplifting vibrations. White sage is believed to amplify good intentions while cleansing negative vibrations. That’s why some call it “Sacred Sage.” It is a seriously protective plant and acts as a natural blessing for people, homes, and items.
White sage (Salvia apiana) belongs to the Salvia plant family and is derived from the Latin word salvere, which means "to heal." White sage also has antimicrobial qualities. So it will keep infectious bacteria, viruses, and fungi at bay. Sage can also serve as an insect repellent, and even help you with sleep quality by easing insomnia.
Our loose white sage comes from a local company in California that works with the upmost respect for nature and according to the principles of Fair Trade. Our white sage is harvested wild in the mountains of California. Due to a unique and manual drying process, the sage is very pure and smells intense.

I do love me some sage ... but you don't need to burn a huge amount of leaves or the big smudge stick to get your cleanse on. Just a few leaves is more than enough. Better for your wallet and for the environment too :)

How to smudge your space & crystals with sage?
- First of all ... When you are smudging indoor, do open a window, so that the negative energy can flow away and good energy can enter.
- Than gather all the items you need. Your loose sage or smudge stick, a fireproof bowl and matches (or a lit candle).
- If you want, you can set an intention, say a prayer or visualise all the bad mojo exiting your space. You can keep doing this while you are smudging.
- Light your sage. When it's burning, blow out the flame softly until your loose sage or stick starts to smoke.
- Now you are ready to smudge your space. Walk around your space with your smoking herbs & fireproof shell, and let the smoke float around. Especially in the corners of your room. You can also use a feather to help the smoke spread.
- Don't forget to give your crystals a well-deserved smudge bath too. They love it! :) Take your crystal with one hand and circulate the smoke around your crystal with the other. If you want to purify several crystals at the same time, place them together and by making wider movements, make sure the smoke includes all your crystals. Et voila, your crystals are cleansed.
